Description

Overview
K2 Dental Laboratory specializes in all aspects of crown and bridge using the latest in digital CAD/CAM and 3D printing technology. We are looking for a full-time dental technician/ceramist to join our growing business.

Description
As a dental technician/ceramist you are responsible for the fabrication of fixed dental prostheses, as prescribed by the dentist, to address the functional and aesthetic requirements of the patient.

Responsibilities
Design/build-up and finishing of all types of crown/bridge/implant restorations, including: porcelain fused to zirconia/lithium disilicate, full contour zirconia/lithium disilicate, porcelain fused to metal, veneers, inlays, onlays, as well as full metal crowns.
Custom shade taking.
Weekly general clean-up duties.

Requirements
As a member of our team, you will:
-possess a minimum of two years ceramics experience in the dental laboratory field
-demonstrate a thorough understanding of, and dedication to, dental form/function/aesthetics
-possess an eye for fine detail, excellent color perception, and superior manual dexterity
-possess effective oral and written communication skills in English
-be an independent problem solver
-be professional, presentable and courteous with clients, patients, and co-workers
Completion of a post-secondary Dental Laboratory Technology Diploma program and certification as a Registered Dental Technician/Technologist, as well as experience with computer assisted dental design and 3D printing technology, is strongly preferred but not a requirement.
