We are currently recruiting for an Industrial Electrician or Electrical Engineering Technologist to fill the role of Transformer Field Service Technician/Technical Representative.

Duties & Responsibilities
-perform technical and/or hands-on work, including transformer installation, assembly & oil processing
-operate mobile oil processing unit
-operate knuckle boom crane
-oil sampling & analysis
-conduct transformer testing & repairs
-ensure that equipment is properly maintained, employees are properly trained, & work is performed in accordance with health & safety requirements
-oversee overall professionalism of crew & delivery of high-quality service
-complete technical reports & site paperwork as required
-work in conjunction with JA Techs technical & construction team to perform maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, repair, specialized installation, commissioning, & start-up of low, medium, & high voltage equipment & apparatus associated with an electrical power system
-conduct work in a manner prescribed by JA Techs Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) Manual
Skills & Qualifications
-Red Seal Electrician or Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology recognized by the Saskatchewan Applied Science Technologists & Technicians (SASTT)
-5+ years of field experience in industrial or utility setting working with transformers
-Class 1A Drivers License preferred
-Knuckle Boom Crane ticket would be an asset
-strong interpersonal, communication, & problem-solving skills
-highly motivated
-ability to understand & perform technically complex calculations
-strong knowledge of drawings (wiring, schematic, & layout)
-able to travel to job sites & remain at projects sites as required
-must be legally entitled to work in Canada
