Job Summary:
Clean and prepare Pool and public areas by meeting established standards of cleanliness and safety to assure guest satisfaction.
Maintains the Public areas and building to ensure a safe and clean experience for our hotel guests, associates and vendors.
Job Duties:
Maintain all pool this includes chemical testing and water levels, fitness room procedures, cleanliness, restocking.
Maintains lobby, business centre, service rooms, vending areas, stairwells, parking lot, and guest laundry in a clean and orderly fashion.
Cleans and wipes windows, doors, walls, public areas and hallways.
Maintain a clean and tidy stocked cart.
Vacuums elevator, public areas.
Shows a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times.
Maintain recycling process.
Able to help in the laundry room when needed.
Performs any additional duties given.
Qualifications:
Valid First Aid/CPR Level C
Basic knowledge of general cleaning principles, use of cleaning products and operation of standard cleaning equipment.
Ability to extend arms over head, bending, and stooping to perform cleaning tasks.
Ability to push or pull cart up to 60 lbs
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Can communicate effectively with guest, co-workers and management.
Can work a flexible work schedule.
Ability to know, understand and follow all established procedures.
