Housekeeping and maintain health and safety measures
Must know how to repair Optical frames, Sunglasses, Adjustment of glasses as per standard alignment
Must have the appropriate knowledge of Edgers i.e. Mr. Blue, Delta T , Pro E700 Essilor
Ability to edge, mount, Polish and grind Prescription Lenses with great precision and accuracy
Ability to transpose the prescription if needed
Analysis and Interpretation of Prescription Lenses
This position relies on computer equipment and automated tools to make the lenses. The final product is always examined by an optical lab technician before it is sent off to the opticians for delivery to patients.
