1. Train staff in job duties, sanitation and
safety procedures
2. Establish methods to meet work schedules
3. Hire food service staff
4. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff
who prepare and portion food
5. Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
6. Prepare food order summaries for chef
7. Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and
wastage
8. Establish work schedules
9. Estimate and order ingredients and supplies
10. Ensure food service and quality control
Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and an occasional day shift.
