Description

At Navigation Psychology, we help busy professionals who feel trapped by anxiety, perfectionism, and chronic stress. We work with clients to challenge the fears that keep them stuck, embrace their unique strengths, and feel more content with who they are.

We're expanding by bringing on a Registered Psychologist as an independent contractor. Our goal is to build a team of dedicated professionals to help adults, children, teens, couples, and families who feel overwhelmed create more balanced lives.

The role of Independent Contractor will involve:
- Providing counselling services for adults, children, or youth
- Maintaining client confidentiality and documentation according to professional guidelines
- Collecting client payments or submitting invoices to third-party payors
- Maintaining responsibility for their own income taxes and CPP, EI, and WCB deductions as a self-employed contractor

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Registered in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists
- Available for a minimum of 8-10 client hours per week
- Understanding of trauma-informed and culturally sensitive practices
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and resolve conflicts effectively
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
- Comfortable using new technology (e.g., electronic records system)

Navigation Psychology will provide:
- Client referrals

- Access to furnished office space with reception and internet, available on Monday and Tuesday mornings, Wednesday to Friday evenings, and weekends
- Practice management software, video therapy platform, online scheduling, payment system, and paperwork templates
