Reporting to the manager, client services, you will join a high-energy, customer focused team responsible for delivering IT services through Camecos Saskatoon-based Client Services team.
Your primary role will be to carry out a variety of assigned technical support tasks that support the IT Lifecycle of computer hardware and peripherals. Typical activities include, but are not limited to inventory, imaging, configuration and disposal of desktops, laptops and other related equipment. You can diagnose and resolve computer hardware and software issues and escalate tickets that require higher level support for final resolution.
This is a temporary position for approximately 24 months.
Requirements of the position:
- Diploma in information technology or in a related technical field
- A minimum of two years of experience in an IT support environment
- Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
- Knowledge of desktop hardware, preferably from an enterprise or business environment
- Knowledge of software installation and troubleshooting in a Windows environment
- Demonstrated experience providing outstanding customer service and troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of IT Service Delivery models and principals
Assets:
- Experience with Windows 10, Active Directory, Microsoft Office products, Apple, and Dell products
- ITIL, Help Desk Institute certification
