Description

On behalf of our client, EXPRESS EMPLOYMENT PROFESSIONALS is seeking a maintenance associate to fill their full-time vacancy.
Highest Priority Responsibilities:
    Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot of grain handling and cleaning machinery.  Mechanical equipment includes material handling equipment such as screw, drag, leg and belt conveyors, and cleaning equipment
    Replace bearings, align drive belts and shafts, attach motors, gear drivers align or splice leg or conveyor belts
    Perform preventative maintenance inspections and checks on mechanical equipment
    Use of cutting and welding equipment for fabrication, patching, repairs, etc.
    Operate rigging equipment and dollies to place and move heavy machinery, spouting and parts
    Works alongside and assists other trades as required
    Performs other related duties as required by management
Qualification Highlights:
    High school diploma or GED equivalent
    Building trades certificate or equivalent, and/or previous maintenance experience considered an asset
    Physical capacity to work in a dusty, loud, and industrial environment
    Good skill in use of hand and power tools
    Knowledge of industrial machinery including grain handling and cleaning equipment would be an asset
    A solid safety record and good knowledge of health and safety policies and practices
    Ability to work at heights (above 80 feet as required) or in cramped
    Ability to work rotating shifts - days, afternoons, nights
