Active Engineers is looking for a dynamic Web Designer who will play a crucial role in the planning, design, development, and maintenance of the company's website. You will be responsible for ensuring that all online digital properties work great and look great on every device. The successful candidate will be self-motivated with an exceptional eye for detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
Responsibilities:
1. Ongoing maintenance and development of core company website and social media handles;
2. Create and optimize content for the Website using a variety of graphics, databases, animation and other software;
3. Play an integral role in the full life cycle of online marketing initiatives and take the lead in determining the best web-based solution to achieve the determined goals;
4. Assist in establishing design guidelines and best practices for the website ;
5. Regularly contribute ideas to help deliver innovative digital marketing content;
6. Provide support for any other web-based projects across the company;
7. Prepare mock-ups and storyboards
Qualifications:
Bachelors in Graphic Design or related discipline;
Proficient in web design with an emphasis on motion design;
3 to 5 years of related web and visual design experience;
Familiar with HTML, WordPress, and javascript;
Have a background in web and motion design and a portfolio to showcase past projects;
Have a good knowledge on the new technologies (interfaces, functionalities, UX etc.) in order to offer possible new solutions during the different projects;
Be detail-oriented and able to keep projects organized and easily accessible;
Capacity to work on several projects simultaneously and respect tight deadlines.
