As the Customer Services Representative, you will be responsible for procuring grain products by building relationships directly with farm customers within a geographical area. The Customer Services Representative adds value to both CMI Terminal Ltd. and farm customers through educating and delivering information on grain marketing and contract programs that will maximize their business operations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
-Negotiate grain contracts from a defined client base within a specific area
-Execute programs within an assigned market center in order to meet budgeted grain volumes and margins
-Coordinate logistics of contracts and related administrative requirements
-Maintain and analyze a database of customer profiles
-Analyze current and future agricultural trends and service needs
-Develop and maintain effective business relationships with current and potential customers
-Contact producers regarding customer strategies in order to increase awareness of customer/business needs
-Drive and facilitate the competitive grain contracts offered at CMI Terminal Ltd.
Knowledge & Skills:

-Efficient in MS office and experience utilizing relevant computer software programs
-Proven experience in customer service or sales capacity
-Basic understanding of the Canadian Grain Industry
Education
Certificate in Agriculture, Agri-Business, Business Administration or Sales and Marketing (or equivalent post-secondary education)
Qualifications
Must possess a valid class 5 drivers license.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience that result in the required level of knowledge skill and competence will be considered.
