Summer Student JobThe Town of Pilot Butte Recreation Department is now accepting applications to fill a temporary position of Summer Fun Program Leader(s). The position is responsible for leading and providing appropriate supervision of participants for the Pilot Butte Summer Fun Program. The period for employment will occur between July and August 2022 and will be approximately five weeks in length.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Supervising the activities of the Pilot Butte Summer Fun Program to ensure due care, safety and security of participants
Planning and implementing a varied recreational program involving crafts, active games, calming activities, sports and special events for children
Maintaining daily records of attendance, program activities and incident reports
Sustaining and preserving inventory of program supplies
Communicating with parents/caregivers of participants on a daily basis
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Parks & Recreation
Qualifications:
Applicants must have experience working with children 5 to 12 years of age
Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable sector included)
Work with minimal supervision
Standard First Aid/CPR is required (CPR C is preferred)
Valid Drivers License an asset
