Southern Irrigation is actively looking for a Full-Time Inside Sales position for our Saskatoon location. The successful candidate should excel in customer service, have good communication skills, and a positive attitude.
This positions primary responsibilities are to increase sales and profitability through the provision of quality customer service in irrigation sales through phone and email.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Work as part of the Inside Sales team, responding to customer requests via phone calls, emails, and processing sales orders. Sets sales goals for the year with the sales manager and achieves them by maintaining competitive margins, quick responses to quote requests, working with vendors to supply special requests, and following up regularly on quotes and job leads with customers. Design and price effective irrigation systems, septic systems, pump and well systems, and price civil construction pipe and fittings. Offer great customer service with integrity, honesty, and credibility, maintaining strong relationships with customers by providing intelligent solutions from selling individual parts to designing and quoting turn-key irrigation systems. Monitor quote success rates and watch for trends; keeping details on reasons for unsuccessful quotes. Attend year-round training sessions and product knowledge seminars
