Weldfab Ltd. has been providing our customers with quality structural and miscellaneous metal fabrications for over 37 years. We are located in Saskatoon, SK. and proudly serve the Mining, Oil, Gas & Construction sectors throughout Western Canada. We provide a challenging, stable, upbeat and satisfying work environment.

In an effort to build on our continuing success, Weldfab Ltd. is currently looking to fill 2 Journeyperson Metal Fabricator/Welder positions.

Journeyperson Metal Fabricator/Welder requirements:
- At least 3+ years of experience
- FCAW/MCAW CWB tickets
- W47.1 CWB Welding supervisor
- Previous experience in shop or fabrication environment
- Telehandler and forklift operation training in beneficial
- Safety certifications and training
- Fabrication and/or other heavy industrial experience
- Variety of experience in commercial and industrial fabrication

Responsibilities:
- Participate in workplace safety initiatives by completing required safety documentation, toolbox meetings, and safety shares;
- Follow all safety procedures including working with mobile equipment, lock-out/tag-out, working with hand tools and power tools, driving, working alone, fall arrest, etc.;
- Read and interpret shop and fabrication drawings, construction drawings, and other written instructions, to perform the task-at-hand;
- Provide accurate layout of the work based on drawings and specifications;
- Familiar with the operation of manual and automatic welding equipment;
- Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery;
- Abide by all company procedures as required;
- Other tasks as required to meet client and operational requirements.
