Truck Driver NOC 7511
Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Load and unload goods, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle, Receive and relay information to central dispatch, Pay and receive payments for goods, Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Transportation/Travel Experience: Local, Short-haul, Regional
Type of Trucking and Equipment: Flatbed, Straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles), Tractor-trailer
Weight Handling: More than 45 kg (100 lbs)
Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.): Class Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles) or Driver's License (Class 1 or A) )-further training will be provided upon arrival in Canada, Air Brakes Endorsement, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, Forklift Operator Certification, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, First Aid Certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
$25.96 per hour
Actual pay is based on a Piecework system. We do not pay by the hour; however, your earnings will equate to equivalency of the published hourly rate of $25.96 or more
Hours: 40 hours per week
