Description

Responsibilities:
-Promote a safe working environment
-Provide advisory services in all aspects of the installation, alignment, troubleshooting, and protective maintenance during outages on large frame power equipment and auxiliaries.
-Support scheduling and planning of maintenance overhauls.
-Support technical discussions with customers regarding recommended maintenance and outage work scopes.
-Completion of quality documentations and maintenance reports.
-Ability to work with all skills of crafts, with customers, and coworkers in a professional manner.
-Travel to/from and work on customer sites both domestically and internationally.
-Protect confidential information by not communicating, disclosing to, or using for benefit of 3rd parties.

Requirement/Qualifications:
-Demonstrated commitment to safety
-Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in the installation of large frame gas turbines, steam turbines and generators.
-Experience diagnosing and repairing Steam/Gas turbine and generator equipment.
-Must be able to speak, read and write in English. French and/or Japanese a plus. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and clients.
-Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions.
-Availability to perform shift work, and travel to various world-wide locations
