The Sporting Goods Sales Associate position is fast-paced, involving constant interaction with customers explaining product benefits and fulfilling customer needs regarding sporting goods and outdoor recreational items. Helping customers is combined with store maintenance activities such as stocking shelves, merchandising and general housekeeping.
MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Meet, greet and thank customers, providing friendly, informed service about sporting goods and outdoor recreational items
-Guide customers to location of products
-Stock shelves and display areas
-Keep stock clean, faced and orderly
-Locate products in the warehouse
-Suggest value-added and related products
-Keep informed of promotions & in-store deals
-Maintain professional appearance (uniform, hygiene, grooming & name tag)
-Follow company, store and department policies
-Complete other tasks, as required
