Responsibilities
Prepping ingredients
Food execution and presentation
Assembling orders
Ensuring standards of food quality
Manage kitchen staff and coordinate food orders
Supervise food prep and cooking
Check food plating and temperature
Order food supplies and kitchen equipment, as needed
Train kitchen staff on prep work and food plating techniques
Store food products in compliance with safety practices (e.g. in refrigerators, freezers)
Keep weekly and monthly cost reports and supplier invoices
Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Previous management experience min. 1-2 years
Familiar with Vietnamese culinary cooking methods and techniques
Can read and understand basic English
Proficient in Vietnamese to communicate effectively with other kitchen staff members
Preferability will be given to those who:
Knowledgeable of Asian spices and cooking techniques
Have experience in cooking Vietnamese cuisine
Any work experience in commercial kitchen setting
