Do you have what it takes?

We are seeking a motivated individual with a winning attitude for the position of Labourer/Delivery Driver. This individual must be self-motivated and willing to take on a variety of tasks within the shop as well as delivering product to customers when needed.

Core Duties:
Bending, cutting and forming of rebar
Rig, hoist and move material using on overhead crane and forklift
Set-up and operate various pieces of rebar equipment - tabletop bender, shear, etc.  
Assemble and load orders onto trucks and trailer for shipping
Deliver customer orders to job sites as required using a 3 ton truck with deck and hoist
Complete necessary paperwork

Qualifications:
A valid class 5 drivers license and a clean drivers abstract are required
Experience working with rebar is considered an asset
Basic math skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability and willingness to follow directions as well as the ability to work independently
Good verbal communication skills

The physical demands of this job require continual use of hands, arms, legs and movement of the entire body for the purposes of lifting, balancing and handling materials. The daily use of personal protective equipment including, but not limited to, safety glasses, steel toe work boots, gloves, helmets and hearing protection will be required.
