Description

The Yardperson is responsible for continued organization of the yard, work vehicles, parts and drilling equipment to ensure smooth mobilization and demobilization of equipment for the work sites. This position is based out of our Saskatoon location but travel to drill sites across Canada may be required to assist with job start up and site organization.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Operates forklifts to load and unload drill equipment and supplies.
Ensures that equipment and supplies are stored correctly.
Washes equipment before storing.
Inspects and identifies equipment that requires repair and/or maintenance.
Gathers and loads items to prepare for job startups.
Schedules and tracks maintenance and repair of work vehicles.
Participates in the annual inventory process.

THE SETTING
Warehouse work environment with occasional visits to the field as required. The Yardperson also works outside in all weather conditions.
THE SCHEDULE
Standard working hours are Monday to Friday
There will also be some requirement to be available after hours and on weekend during busy times.
WHAT YOU NEED
2+ years of experienced in a yard or warehouse environment.
Experienced with forklifts, wheel loader & other heavy equipment.
Knowledge of diamond drill equipment and drilling methodologies is an asset.
Valid Class 3 Drivers Licence is an asset. Minimum requirement is a Class 5 licence with no restrictions.
Ability to repetitively lift 75 lbs.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
