Heavy Crude Hauling LP has a position available for a Field Safety Supervisor.
Your Primary Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
-Customer Relations In your role of Field Safety Supervisor, you will be expected to oversee and ultimately be accountable for the Productivity and Safety in the Lloydminster and area region. This will include the functions relating to sales and marketing; customer relations; field operations and field personnel; maintenance and equipment; and HSE initiatives. There may be other initiatives Heavy Crude will require you to work on from time-to-time as well. You are expected to work with the members of the management team of Heavy Crude in the development and successful execution of Heavy Crudes strategy. Our ultimate objective is to ensure the Lloydminster and area region remains a successful terminal and that we capitalize on future opportunities.
-Provide field support and competency checks, subcontractors and drivers.
-Provide support to dispatch as required.
-Perform ongoing infield inspections, observations, and interventions.
-Follow up on Hazard IDs as part of system of prevention.
-Ensure policies & procedures followed utilizing progressive discipline.
-Timely incident response mitigate, investigate, document and report.
-Maintain ongoing communication with client field personnel.
-Obtain approval for hourly tickets as required.
-Work with Dispatch to ensure effective scheduling and distribution of workload.
-Interdepartmental cooperation: dispatch, administration, safety and shop.
-Assist with recruiting and retaining of Subcontractors in your designated field.
-Help grow the business
-Work with the Leadership Team to ensure HCH maximizes productivity and endorses a safe work environment.
-Be willing to work shift work as well as be on call to respond to incidents as needed.
-Must have all safety tickets as well as current drivers abstract.
