Description

Pharmasave #425 located in Moose Jaw - Lillooet, SK is currently accepting resumes for a full-time Registered Pharmacy Technician.

--40 hours per week.
--This is a 1-year term position with the possibility of an extension.
--The successful candidate must be licenced in the province of Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities:
--This position will practice in collaboration with the pharmacists to provide the best possible pharmacy services to our patients.
--The Pharmacy Technicians primary role is to ensure prescriptions are filled correctly. The right medication gets to the patient, related administration, and managed inventory.  
--Transcribe verbal orders, transfer prescriptions, and check on the technical aspects of the prescription.
--Exercise professional judgment always and be able to recognize when the clinical expertise of a pharmacist is required.
--Perform administration functions, such as: documentation, third party billing reconciliations and complete required audits.
--Other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager.

Qualifications:
--Licenced Pharmacy Technician
--Pharmacy Technician Certificate from a CCAPP accredited post-secondary institution.
--Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
--Able to work independently and has experience multi-tasking.
--Professional attitude and ability to communicate well with customers and co-workers.
--Preference will be given to those who have retail Pharmacy experience.
--Due to the sensitive nature of this position the successful candidate must complete a Criminal Record Check.
