Description

Regina Senior Citizens' Centre is a non-profit organization looking to hire 2 summer students. The positions will be a mix of working in the office, assisting with maintenance around the building, and yard care in the community for seniors. You need to be between the ages of 15 and 30 the date the position starts which is June 20th, 2022, and ends August 26, 2022, for a total of 10 weeks. Read below for other requirements.
Tasks and Responsibilities
    Work at the front counter and be the first point of contact with seniors
    Answer all incoming phone calls
    Receiving and recording all money that comes in for programs and fill out the daily cash sheet
    Assist with all programs and activities at the centre, including special events
    Assist with marketing and promotional materials
    Assist the maintenance team around the centre with general cleaning
    Assist the Home Help Services department with incoming and outgoing calls to clients
    Receiving and recording all cash that comes in from the Home Help department
    Assist with yard work services we provide  mowing grass, washing windows, cleaning eavestroughs, raking and bagging leaves, etc.
Must have a valid drivers license.
Must be between the ages of 15-30 at the starting date of the position.
Must be able to work the full length of the position: June 20  August 26.
Must be a permanent resident of Canada.
