Responsibilities:
Perform 2D drafting and 3D modelling
Assist with project design and layout
Research design components (valves, HVAC, pumps, etc.)
Participate in project manual development including specification writing
Collaborate with teams, liaise with designers and field staff

Qualifications:
Completed post-secondary diploma in a relevant field (CAD/CAM Engineering Technology, Engineering Design and Drafting Technology)
Competent in the use of Autodesk, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Civil 3D software and Revit BIM system
Five years of work experience relating to civil construction is required. Experience relating to water and wastewater is preferred.
Understanding of building structures and systems
Understanding of water and pipe system hydraulics
Understanding of relevant National and local design standards and codes
Ability to read and understand project specifications and drawings
