Accountabilities:
As the General Manager/Chef Manager, you will be responsible for successfully coordinating and directing all account and food and service activities for this operation. This role will require your strong knowledge and background working with hospitality food service as well as catering food service operations. You will be responsible for Menu planning, recipe creation, ensuring food quality, and all other requested tasks. You will drive a standard and consistency in food, food service delivery as well as foster a fun environment. Working with your creativity, you will help build and maintain a solid and mutually beneficial business relationship including: high levels of client and customer satisfaction and account retention; strong employee relations; achievement of financial goals; and future business growth plans. All this while respecting the high standards set by our company in regards to Health and Safety and HACCP. SAFETY FIRST!
Growth and Development
Completion of a post-secondary culinary program
Red Seal Chef papers are a mandatory requirement for this role
5 years experience in managing large food service operation, preferably in Corporate setting
High level of creativity and standards
Strong people management skills in organizing a kitchen team while having hands-on capabilities
Catering experience Cooking daily production
HACCP, and Physical safety knowledge
Perform effectively under pressure and meet Sodexo standards and objectives
Planning, organizing and effective time management skills
Ability to work in a dynamic management team
