Reporting to the Manager, Building Operations, the Building Operator is responsible for:  

- Daily operations and maintenance of buildings, infrastructure and equipment (industrial, commercial and laboratory HVAC systems, steam and hydronic heating and cooling systems)
- Maintaining parts and supplies inventory
- Establishing positive connections and providing exceptional service to our tenants
- Identifying aging infrastructure, energy-saving solutions and preventative maintenance work

What We Want from You
- Ability to assess and troubleshoot maintenance problems
- Comprehensive understanding of building HVAC systems, steam and hot water boiler systems and general network infrastructure
- Flexibility to participate in on-call shift rotation and response to emergency call-outs
- Confidence providing estimates for labour, materials, and to stay on budget and timeline
- Commitment to ensure a safe work environment
- 3  7 years experience related to commercial building operations
- Valid TSASK Fifth Class Power Engineer License
