Saskatoon Boiler is looking to hire a full time Boiler Maker Trainee

The successful candidate with receive in house, on-the-job training to become proficient in Boiler fabrication skills including but not limited to;

-    Basic fabrication, non-pressure welding   and oxy-acetylene cutting
-    Boiler tube removal and installation
-    Boiler refractory work
-    Sheet metal work
-    Specialized boiler hand tool operation
-    Blueprint reading
-    Specialty boiler fabrication equipment such as plate rollers, flangers, ect
-       Hanging doors,
-       Mounting burners
-       Mounting piping and controls
-       Assembling gas trains and regulators
-       Applying insulation and cladding to boiler assemblies
-       Cutting parts with band saw
-       Assisting on service jobs
-    Other duties as assigned by Management


This is a permanent full time position, Monday to Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Overtime hours to apply when required in compliance with the union agreement in place.  Some travel may be required.

Position requires the ability to read tape measure, read blueprints, follow instructions, and any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Previous experience with piping pressure vessels, non-code welding or assembling boilers would be an asset.
