As a Director of Product Marketing, you will oversee the strategies and tactics used across Vendastas Marketplace team to bring Vendastas platform and product suites to both new and existing customers. The Product Marketing function exists at the intersection of product, marketing, and sales.
Responsibilities
Work closely with product marketing teams to develop winning plans, iterate over our strategies, and ensure the path forward is clear for all
Lead and grow a team of Product Marketers to ensure the success and adoption of our products as they go to market
Ensure product marketing teams are effectively measuring their efforts and roll those results up into easily understood reports for senior executives
Develop the strategy for pricing, messaging, packaging, promotion and selling of Vendastas Marketplace products
Create a unifying set of accepted practices and frameworks across product marketing for: Product launch plans, Sales enablement, and Collaboration with demand generation
Ensure that we have exhaustive competitive research and that research is turned into tools for Sales, Support, Success and Marketing
Train and support sales and customer support teams on new tools and products
Make data-driven decisions to move the team and product forward and hit company goals
Keep the company up-to-date with market trends and competition, and keep us several steps ahead of the competition at all times
Act as a thought leader for Vendastas solutions, including speaking engagements and written works
Skills & Qualifications
7+ years of product marketing experience. Preference given to those with with 2 years of experience in a market-facing role (e.g. delivering presentations to customers and prospects, conducting competitor analysis and market research)
Bachelors degree in Business or Marketing; MBA preferred
Expertise with marketing automation tools such as Marketo, Pardot and Omniture, and Google Analytics
