THE POSITION
Reporting to Chief Executive Officer (CEO), this position will be responsible for the overall direction and management of our urban integrated services strategy which includes the creation, management, and seamless deployment of rapid response teams to deliver STCs wrap-around services for its indigenous urban members in a culturally inviting way. This includes the management of STCs emergency homing programs, outreach services, harm reduction, addictions, and mental health supports, group homes, urban family services, urban daycare, pathways to education, employment, and training services, and justice urban programming. The Director will set the goals and objectives of the multi-disciplinary teams to efficiently and effectively deliver programs and services to improve the quality of life for STCs urban membership, both Indigenous and non-Indigenous urban citizens similarly coping with challenges of transition, poverty, addictions, unemployment and very difficult social conditions, particularly in the core area of Saskatoon. The Director will lead the strategy and effectiveness of the delivery of services within a continuum of care model for those facing multiple determinants of social health. The position will collaborate with external partners and supports in Saskatoon to achieve its mission and provide results.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Develops, directs, manages, and leads coordinated intake and integrated rapid response teams (Settlement Officers, Housing Officers, and Family Support Officers) and coordinates with other STC departments to initially case plan and ensure full wrap-around services to urban clients across all STC services to provide reliable, constant, leading-edge advocacy, referral coordination and one-stop client accountability for each urban Indigenous client and their family for at least 365 days from every intake, or until each file has been successfully closed.
