Description

As a Library characterization Product Engineer you will be handling a wide range of technical issues, from spice simulations to advanced modelling of timing, noise and variation, working closely with our world-class field applications and engineering teams to enhance the accuracy, performance, and ease-of-use of our characterization solutions.

Responsibilities:

- Application development, specification reviews and working with cross functional core teams defining multiple aspects of our characterization solutions.
- Generate technical collateral, application notes, and training materials for the purpose of internal/external training sessions.
- profiling and identifying bottlenecks in performance, I/O, disk and memory usage on customer compute farm and cloud environments.
- Interface with/support application engineers and managers for deployment, identify and support new features, and develop or enhance dedicated characterization flows

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (Masters degree a plus) or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
- Experience with industry standard characterization tools
- Familiar with .libs, including CCS timing/noise/power/variability.
- Understand methodologies involved in characterization and validation of standard cells and I/Os.
Experience simulating nanometer analog designs with industry standard SPICE Simulators.
Knowledge of Asic design flow and basics of STA.
Familiar with EDA design environments (unix) and able to script in standard languages, including TCL.
Must be able to work with a world-class, Ph.D. caliber development team .
Self-motivated individual with excellent problem solving skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
