Description

Reporting to the Sr. Specialist, Transportation & Logistics, the Analyst, Customs & Logistics position is responsible for providing support on a variety of transportation, logistics and customs activities.  You will work with Saskatchewan and Ontario supply chain management (SCM) transport teams on physical deliveries of uranic goods.  You will aid and support the movement of shipments from Saskatchewan northern mine sites to customers both domestically and internationally.  You will be a key contact with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate customs compliance of goods importing and exporting to and from Cameco facilities in Canada, as well as coordinating general freight movements to support Cameco's Canadian operations.

Utilizing SAP and other computer software programs, you will support the physical delivery of Camecos uranic goods while interacting directly with site-based personnel and Camecos contracted transportation partners. You will be responsible for reviewing customs broker entry summaries for compliance, record keeping of documents and information related to customs initiatives and audits, as well as act as the internal point of contact for customs-related support.

Requirements of the position:
- Certificate or diploma in business administration or a related field to logistics and transportation
- At least five years of relevant work experience in customs brokerage/ transportation and logistics
- Experience with freight transportation regulations for road, ocean, and air
- Superior computer skills including data entry (SAP or similar enterprise) and Microsoft Office suite
- Effective customer service and communication skills
- Excellent planning, organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities

Assets:
- Certified Logistics Professional (CCLP)
- Professional Logistician (P.Log), or Certified Customs Specialist (CCS)
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) training
