We are looking for a Sales Engineer to work with our vendor and sales teams to acquire third-party vendors and partners aspiring to become vendors in our marketplace. Focusing on the delivery of monthly sales quotas and delivering on growth forecasts, the Sales Engineer will live & breathe market share and revenue growth. They will sell on a daily basis, explore every opportunity, and coordinate with internal channels to assist on technical demos & sales.
Responsibilities:
Create demo scripts for different products and services for vendors looking to be part of the Vendasta Marketplace
Maintain a healthy vendor pipeline in Sales & Success Center; update notes & insights of every opportunity assigned
Provide valuable reporting for the vendor division to enable success with third-party products
Attend development product backlog refinement meetings to keep up-to-date with new releases and provide insights
Assist with vendor enablement asset creation and sales training
Create a strategy that enables sales teams and channel partners to leverage the Vendasta Marketplace
Become the subject matter & thought leader expert for all things vendor integrations and Marketplace
Present data in an effective manner to drive improvements from leadership
Provide key insights to our channel partners and potential vendors around the technical solutions of our products and work with our vendors to build a solution that allows them to sell more effectively.
Qualifications:
3+ years experience in technical software sales or support; preference given to experience in SaaS
Demonstrated understanding of software integrations and APIs considered an asset
Exceptional professional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to explain complex, technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Ability to lead and manage multiple projects at once and execute with a sense of urgency
Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
