This position is responsible for providing quality care with a child-centred approach to the children participating in the LINC Programs Care for Newcomer Children (CNC). This employee is responsible for providing services to children of varying ages and ensuring the health and safety of all children under their care.

- First Aid Certificate
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
- Early Childhood Education Diploma or Degree
Early Childhood Education Skills
- Provide opportunity for creative expression through the mediums of art, dramatic play and music
- Prepare progress reports and discuss with parents and other staff members
- Plan and develop child care and nursery school programs
- Assess the developmental level of children
- Knowledge of licensing regulations
