This is a Senior Management position. The Human Resources Officer maintains and enhances the organization by planning, implementing and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs and practices.
Ensures legal compliance with the Saskatchewan Labour Standards Act and Employment Law
Implementing applicable human resource requirements, conducting investigations; maintaining records; prepares all written documentation.
Oversee talent acquisition and recruitment processes
Maintain staff by advertising, available positions; screening, interviewing and selecting qualified applicants; and orienting new employees.
Coordinate employee development plans and performance management.
Maintains employee benefits programs, informs employees of benefits, directing the processing of benefit claims, awarding benefit contracts.
Develop and implement the Health and Safety Committee(s)
Develop and monitor retention programming
to Finance and personnel file.
Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation
Aid payroll and report to the Payroll Coordinator by calculating pay, overtime and other payments.
