F.P. Bourgault Tillage Tools Ltd. (BTT) is a leading manufacturer of high quality North American made Seeding/Fertilizer Openers and Tillage tools. BTT is located in the small industrious and agricultural community of St. Brieux, SK. Since its formation in 1991, BTT has greatly expanded its product line and market area, becoming a proven innovator in field opener technology.

BTT is currently looking for an IT Technician to join our dynamic team at BTT! As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for day to day maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support of BTTs hardware and software environment.  When not working on day-to-day tasks, you will be working with Sr. IT staff on ongoing improvement projects in both network deployment and software design.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Front-line computer and smartphone support to end-users
Server administration, including AD, and Xen/KVM virtualization
Maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi and VPN
Management of changes to VoIP PBX
Data backups

QUALIFICATIONS:
Post-Secondary Education in Computing
Experience or knowledge in Layers 1-3 networking, wireless
Knowledge of VoIP, Mobile & VPN
Experience with databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Admin
Knowledge of programming with Python, Shell, Powershell
High technical aptitude regarding computing hardware, diagnosis, repair/replacement, and specification of new equipment
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff
Keen attention to detail
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
