Description

Under the direction of the Manager of Engineering, the Engineering Technologist is responsible for the performance of technical duties related to design, contract management, field supervision and quality control of Capital projects related to water, sewer, storm water and environmental management.

This position will perform the following duties:
    Capital Project Construction
    Project Management and Contract Administration
    Municipal Programs
    Funding and Grant Applications
    Commercial Subdivision
    Disaster Preparedness and Response
    Software Operations
    Participation of Committee Meetings
    Reporting

Qualified applicants will possess:
    University degree in engineering, or a related field, eligible for registration with a Provincial organization (APEGS  P.Eng, EIT) OR
    A post-secondary Diploma in Engineering Technologies and 3 years related experience in municipal project management OR
    An Engineering Technician Certificate and 5 years related experience in municipal project management; Ability to operate AutoCAD
    Eligible for certification as a Certified Engineering Technologist in Saskatchewan
    Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
    a valid Class 5 drivers license
