1. Provide one-to-one or group support to students through the following tutoring modes: online, drop-in, appointment-based, or workshop.
2. Provide support to students in math and physics related courses for several programs including trades, technologies and engineering programs.
3. Assist Students with learning success skills and strategies in the online or face-to-face environment.
4. Assist in identification of study resources appropriate to support specific course content and share with students to improve their individual learning habits.
5. Maintain a positive learning environment while assisting students in building their confidence, knowledge, and abilities in their studies.
6. In consultation with Learning Services Instructors, seek any clarification needed from program instructors to meet course expectations.
7. In consultation with the Learning Services and/or program instructor(s), be reflective of and responsive to accommodation of diverse learning needs, including equity groups and English language learners, through the use of appropriate instructional methodologies.
8. Provide support to Learning Services instructors as directed which includes, but is not limited to, recording and maintaining quantitative records; and researching and collecting student friendly support and reference materials.
9. Work cooperatively in an interdependent team environment.
10. Participate in mentorship and training sessions.
11. Pursue professional development opportunities to keep current with employer and educational requirements.

Must be available up to 24 hours a week, including evenings and weekends as determined, and be willing to provide flexibility with advanced notice to create a schedule that suits students availability.
