Job Overview
Join our team and work with us to create fun, delicious, high quality donuts with a conscience. We are currently looking for a bakers! Part-time and Full-time positions are available - must have open availability, minimum of 3 shifts per week, and able to start work at 4am. We strive to serve the highest quality donuts, made from the highest quality ingredients specializing in vegan and regular yeast raised & cake donuts.
Work Setting *Kitchen/Bakery - Fast paced environment
Responsibilities
Inspect kitchen and food service areas
Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
Roll, cut, proof & fry doughs
Prepare dough for donuts
Glaze and garnish donuts
Operate/maintain/clean machinery
Prepare dough for donuts
Skills/ Abilities
Work under pressure
Repetitive tasks
Attention to detail
Ability to distinguish between colours/ textures
Standing for extended periods
Ability to lift 25lbs regularly
Must be able to work early mornings 4am
Assets
Cake/pastry decorating
Familiar with writing/piping techniques
Dough making
Knowledge on making pastry creams, meringues, cookies, cakes, curds, compotes, ganache

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $15 per hour after probation plus tip out of $5-$7 + per hour
