Description

The Moose Jaw & District Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Program Coordinator.

This is a unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make a significant impact to the local and surrounding business communities through the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP) program.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the undertaking of talent acquisition to Moose Jaw to support economic growth.
- Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with business owners and operators, local support organizations, government stakeholders, post-secondary institutions, and other stakeholders and work to align and advance talent-related strategic objectives.
- Partner with local employers to identify their resource needs and assist them throughout the process of attaining their new employees.
- Work closely with candidates to navigate the RNIP program, their permanent residence application, their work permit application, and their journey to Moose Jaw.
- Partner with the Community Bridging Coordinator to welcome immigrants to the community and assist in settlement efforts.
- Reporting.

Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma, or equivalent mix of education and experience
- A minimum of 3 years experience in talent acquisition, immigration, or a business development role
- Proven project management experience
- Some travel will be required. A valid drivers license is a must
- Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or in Canada on a valid work permit
