The successful applicant will provide practical and theoretical instruction in all aspects related to the Occupational Health and Safety Certificate program, as outlined by the Saskatchewan Polytechnic curricula and guidelines. Responsibilities include planning, developing, and delivering instruction; evaluating student performance; providing guidance, presenting workshops, and demonstrations; and, liaising with industry.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field including nursing, education, health, science, engineering, or business or equivalent combination of education and experience (post-secondary certificate/diploma in a related field and three years of direct work-based experience in Occupational Health and Safety).
- Formal certificate/diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
- Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation (or working towards completion of designation, to be completed within two years of hire).
- Two years (3200 hours) of work experience as a practitioner in Occupational Health and Safety in the last five years.
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check will be required.
