EVRAZ North America has an opening for a Lead Software Developer at the Regina Steel facility. This position monitors and reviews the work of team members while remaining an active participant in the development of systems. They will make recommendations for ongoing support and future projects while maintaining an interest in new technology and innovation to bring value to the organization. Must be experienced in different application development methodologies and understand the strengths and weaknesses of different approaches.
Develop new applications and project solution development
Junior member training and code review
Maintain and support on custom or third-party system
Provide application support to end users
On Call Support
Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements
Post secondary education in Computer Science or Software Systems Engineering
Minimum 10 years related experience
Technical strengths in the following Microsoft technologies:
+ Visual Studio VB / C# / ASP.NET
+ Visual C++
+ SQL Server and Management Studio
+ Windows Presentation Framework (WPF)
+ Windows Communication Framework (WCF)
+ Entity Data Model (EDM)
+ Reporting Services
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Advanced analytical and project management skills
Ability to balance multiple priorities
