Summer Student JobAutism Services, is looking for a creative professional, passionate about working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as a member of a team in a non-profit environment.
This is a fulltime summer service position working directly with children, youth, teens in a recreational program. The worker will work under the direction of the On-Site Coordinator and the supervision of the Director of Family Programs.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 graduate
- Demonstrated understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Developed interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work respectfully and cooperatively, both individually and with other team members and families.
- Possession of a valid drivers license and access to a vehicle is recommended.
Details:
This is a summer contract position. You will be committing to a Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm position from July 4th - August 19th (7 weeks). The wage is 12.75/hour. We will consider applicants who can work at least 3-4 weeks but will give preference to those who can work all 7 weeks.
