Land-based education supporting Woodland Cree language and culture is an important part of school programming. Duties will involve coordination with another teacher working with younger students, shared responsibility for programming and site management, and engagement with families and community. The initial emphasis will be on grades 7-9. The successful applicant will report to the high school principal as part of the high school staff.
This continuing, full-time position starts August 29, 2022. The successful candidate must be eligible for a Saskatchewan teaching certification. Salary is according to the provincial salary grid plus a benefits package that includes subsidized housing and a northern living allowance. Rent is approx. $450 - $500/month including utilities, excluding phone/internet & satellite TV.
