Meadow Lake Mechanical Pulp Inc. (MLMP) is the world's first successful zero-effluent-discharge market pulp mill that is a state-of-the-art, chlorine-free bleached chemi-thermo mechanical pulp (BCTMP) facility employing approximately 190 employees with annual production capacity of 420,000 ADMT. The mill operates 24 hours a day and 365 days of the year.

Casual Production Operator

Duties  may  include  general  site cleanup, painting, shutdown assistance, clamptruck operation, loader operation, and other miscellaneous labour related tasks.  Training will be provided, however, equipment experience, and / or experience in an industrial environment are assets.

Although hours are not guaranteed, it is expected casual employees will average approximately 10 to 20 hours per week.

The successful applicants must be energetic, hard working individuals who are willing to work a variable schedule and sometimes with short notice.
