Program Manager, Indigenous Affairs
Unit - Legal Services
Location - Regina, Saskatoon or Moose Jaw, SK
Salary Range - MC6 $86,304 - $107,904 annually
WSA is seeking an individual to join our Legal Services unit as the Program Manager, Indigenous Affairs. An employee in this job will provide analytical research, advisory, facilitation and dispute resolution services for the Water Security Agency (WSA) with a specific focus on indigenous affairs, treaty rights and land related matters. In addition, this job will provide support to the review and revision of existing Government of Saskatchewan policies and frameworks and the identification, development and implementation of new corporate legislation, regulations, policies and programs.
This position requires extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of indigenous history, culture and related issues, land control policy development, procedures and negotiation techniques and the theories and practical application of facilitation and dispute resolution techniques.
As the successful candidate, you will have a Degree in Natural or Environmental Science, Engineering, Resource Management, Public Policy or similar discipline and 6 years of related experience. Project Management Professional certification would be considered an asset.
