Description

The Rural Municipality of Great Bend No. 405 is accepting applications for seasonal maintenance personnel to commence work in the Spring of 2022.  Experience and/or exposure to heavy equipment such as construction or farm equipment is an asset.  

Duties will be primarily the operation of a Massey Ferguson 6485 tractor pulling a Schulte FLX 1510 Flex Arm 15' mower, but also may include the operation of an excavator and semi-tractor/trailer unit.  In addition to mowing duties the position includes equipment and shop maintenance, culvert installation, road/civic-address sign installation and other duties as assigned.

Applicants must be competent operating equipment, self-motivated, willing to receive training and acquire certificates as needed.  Preference consideration for applicants with Class 1A license.

Compensation will be reflective of the combination of qualifications and work experience possessed by the successful applicant.

The Rural Municipality of Great Bend No. 405 consists of approximately 9 townships 830 km2.  The RM shop is located outside the Village of Borden.  Municipal facilities and equipment are a smoke-free environment.
