Hypor Inc. is currently accepting applications for a person to work in the lab at our Green Hill Al Centre located near Ituna, Saskatchewan.
The position will require that you perform various duties within the lab at the AI centre. The successful candidate will be a person possessing: a strong work ethic, good orgnizational skills, good communication skills, good computer skills, a desire to learn, the ability to work as a team member. The ability to work a variety of shifts is required.
Main areas of accountability will include:
Work as a team player by accomplishing daily department work requirements and lab goals.
Sanitize and wash multiple areas in the lab using prescribed chemicals and instructions.
Maintain accurate production information and update all department records as required.
Assist with maintaining lab, office cleanliness, and laundry duties.
Prepare semen collections for evaluation including accurate dilutions with a pipette.
Operate packaging machines including accurate data entry for dose label information and being able to lift and move the pools of semen which way up to 40 pounds.
Package product for shipment to customers.
Use a computer assisted evaluation program to check motility of samples from each batch produced.
