Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the marketing consultant serves as an advisor to the program areas. The area of expertise includes marketing, advertising, event planning and internal communications. Incumbents recommend and project manage marketing, advertising, public relations and promotional strategies and develop creative concepts. They possess writing, editing, and proofreading skills commensurate with production of high-quality and compelling news releases, speeches, advertisements, promotional materials and newsletter stories.
Key areas of responsibility include the development of marketing plans for 2 or more province wide program clusters, internal communications initiatives, and media relations.
