Job Profile:
Reporting to the Executive Chef, Chef De Partie is responsible for cleaning and preparing food and cooking more complex meals as per standardized recipes. The Chef De Partie ensures a clean, sanitized and organized work environment, sets up and stocks food items and other supplies, and provides oversight to other line cooks.
Primary Responsibilities:
Clean and prepare food items with all cooking methods to the highest standards
Butcher meat
Cook food items by grilling, frying, sauting and other cooking methods
Follow recipes, use standardized ingredients
Receive and store food products to all food safety requirements
Maintain tools and prep areas clean, sanitized and organized
Stock food items, inventory
Qualifications:
Red Seal
Certification: Food Safe, Food Handler
2+ years of cooking experience
Effective organizational skills
Strong communications skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
