Description

Responsible to oversee the good health of all residents including acceptable levels of personal hygiene and proper nutrition and weight. Monitoring vital signs and perform some medical procedures.

RESPONSABILITIES

Provide basic care to patients when required.

Monitor vital signs of residents including respiration, blood pressure, temperature, oxygen levels, heart rates.

Inserting catheters

Treat bedsores.

Giving injections.

Administering medication.

Changing bandages.

Help in the developing of care plans.

Supervise oral care and nail care.

Supervise Nurses Aids reports: MARs and Charts

Lead huddles between shifts.

Perform break room audits and walk audits.

Train nurses care aids.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Current PN License

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Check vital signs

Administer medication.

Wound care.

Urgent and emergency care.

Patient safety.
