Artek Film Solutions is a company that specializes in flat glass window film, graphics, signage & displays installations. We are looking for an installation technician/apprentice who would like to either start or continue their career in the industry to come join our team. Technicians will be work in teams and on their own to perform daily tasks. Previous experience and knowledge in the application of vinyl graphics/wraps, architectural & flat glass window films and other digital large format signage & displays on vehicles and building applications would be a definite asset.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
Responsibilities:
Installing sun control, safety and decorative window film, graphics, signage and displays
Must be self-motivated as they will be expected to work on their own, and complete projects in a timely manner
Working on ladders and mechanical lifts/Scaffolding
Proficient in math/measuring skills for site surveys
Technology Orientated (need to be able to work with internal & external software programs)
You must have a valid drivers license, reliable vehicle and clean driving record as remote installations within SK is required.

Training Required: hands-on training provided. You will be paired with the lead installer for hands-on training to develop your skills in preparation to work independently on projects.
Schedule:
60-100 hours expected bi-weekly (casual)
Mostly Monday to Friday 8:30-5:00 but weekends & evenings will be required depending on the job requirements

Aerial Work Platforms Certification (considered an asset-can be trained)
Fall Arrest Certification (considered an asset-can be trained)
